Dealing with Drug Abuse Issues Head-On SHOULD be the prime activity of National Authority for the Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (Nacada). But it seems like the Chairman has this on the last page of Nacada To-Do List. Instead of creating a Massive Rehabilitation for the addicts, Nacada is supplying drug addicts with syringes and needles to reduce the rate of HIV/Aids transmission among them. I agree with the Reason of reducing HIV/Aids transmission, But, do you know that most drug addicts die because of the repeated injections on the veins that leave them with wounds with no sign of healing? Most of them inject themselves on their hands, thighs, neck and genitals...yes you heard right, on the penis. They don't care what others use theirs for, Since the Heroin and cheap inpure Cocaine they use has wrecked all their sexual feelings. If Nacada has not yet Set-up a Mass Rehabilitation Centre in Nairobi for all these years it has been using Tax Payers money, Ask yourself when will they Set-up one in your HomeTown? After We Lose all Our Friends in addiction?
